From the East
Hello my Brothers,
The year is off to a great start and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Most Worshipful Master Shawn Bradshaw, Grand Master of NC Masons. We will be hosting the Grand Master Wednesday April 1st for the 32nd District Official Visit. I hope that you will mark your calendar to attend. This is in addition to our regularly stated meeting for April.
I look forward to seeing you soon in the lodge. Please come and introduce yourself next time you come to the lodge, I am sure that I have not met all the bothers of Phalanx 31.
Fraternally,
Chris Leuck – Master
From the West
Greetings from the West!
Welcome month of March! Within this month you can start to feel spring in the air (hope so), and the summer will be upon us soon. Our lodge is busy doing practices on every Tuesday (that is not Stated communication or any Emergent communication) for the Upcoming Grand Master’s district visit which will be on our lodge on April 1st, making plans for an upcoming Entered apprentice or should I say Entered Apprentices some time in April and we’re all excited that there are new brothers joining our fraternity and Lodge.
Please attend Lodge meetings and emergent communication as well as Tuesdays’ Practices and any functions. Your support and wisdom at all of our events means everything. I hope to see each and every one of you at these events.
Remember Brethren “Masonic labor is purely a labor of love. The wages of a Mason are in the dealings with one another; sympathy begets sympathy, kindness begets kindness, helpfulness begets helpfulness, and these are the wages of a Mason.”

From the Secretary
Brothers,
I wish to clarify that I am the one who assembles the Trestleboard for distribution, with contributions from the principal officers. I also generally try to include an article with
the hope that it might prompt some remembrances or even further thought about the teachings of our fraternity. The January Trestleboard article entitled Is Masonry Still Viable, while asserting “Freemasonry welcomes good men of every country, sect and opinion.” did include decidedly Christian citations. I hope that you know that the Trestleboard is never assembled with the intention to exclude or offend.
I will assure you that I will adjust the filter through which I vet these articles moving forward.
