From the East
Greetings from the East,
Brothers, I pray that you and your family are well. This year has been nothing like I expected. I don’t think I would have believed it if some one would have given me a
glimpse into the future.
With our activities curtailed we are not able to meet and strengthen our brotherly bonds as usual. I would ask that you reach out to a brother and connect with him today. If you can reach more than one brother that is fantastic, there are many brothers and many days.
I heard a story this week about a man in New York City who was on his way to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. The man, convinced he did not matter to anyone, made a decision to go ahead with his plans. On the way to the bridge a woman smiled and wished him a good morning. He was so moved by this action of a complete stranger in such a large place he changed his mind. Some time later he saw this woman on television and wrote to her and told her that her simple act of kindness saved his life. Using this story as inspiration, take a moment to spread some brotherly love.
I wish you a great day and safe travels in your daily life. Please let me know how I can help you.
Fraternally,
Chris Leuck
From the West
Greetings from the West!
As the month of August approaches, our lodge’s opening up is not looking too good with what’s happening in our world. We have surge of new cases of Covid-19 as a correlation with the events happening in our society.
It is our responsibility to protect our selves and others by being responsible with our own
actions. With the things happening in our society, it clearly shows that we need to show more compassion and love for one another and that’s where freemasonry core values comes in…Integrity, Friendship, Respect, Faith, Hope and Charity is what we need specially during these times.
My family has been blessed enough that everybody is staying healthy, and the same thing I wish with everybody.
Let’s all beat this virus so we can go back to our normal life without having fear of doing anything. I miss looking forward to every 2nd Tuesday of each month to see you all at the lodge. Stay safe brethren and I am Praying and so looking forward to be back to our regular Stated Communications again soon.
