Masonic Lodge Charlotte NC – June 2019

From the East

Greetings from the East!

Your officers met on 1 June for a productive Lecture Service under the able tutelage of WB Bob Braswell. We thank Bob for sharing his knowledge and experience. On 25 June, we will pass EA Tony Hellene to the degree of Fellowcraft. Let’s reward Tony with a well attended degree.

We will not be meeting in July as we voted to go dark for that month.

Hope to see YOU in lodge!

From the West

My brothers, the summer is upon us. We have had a only a taste of the hot summer weather to come. Today it is a beautiful 83 and sunny but last week it was over 95 many of the days with very little rain. With the heat headed our way we need to be aware of the dangers of heat events. During The last 30 years the average number of deaths due to heat was greater than hurricanes, lightning strikes, flooding and tornadoes combined annually.

Please take a moment to prepare for the heat that is headed our way this summer.
